FEDERICO TOMASSELLI<\/span><\/h2>[vc_column_text]In his early thirties, Federico Tomasselli is one of the most admired Italian mixologists<\/em>of his generation.
\nHe was born in the pulsating heart of Rome and literally took his first steps behind the counter of a bar and began his career in the world of restaurants and beverages<\/em> at an early age in the family business run by his parents.
\nShortly after becoming of age, he flew to London to expand his knowledge about food and drinks and landed at the iconic Townhouse<\/em>\u2013Lab<\/em> di Knightsbridge.
\nUpon his return to Italy, he began a ten-year journey that began with being part of the Villa Borghese Sofitel Hotel<\/em> team and led him to the role of General Manager of the most famous Italian speakeasy<\/em>, the Jerry Thomas<\/em> in Rome.
\nIn 2015, he won the Italian title of the Bacardi Legacy Cocktail Competition<\/em> and the opportunity to represent Italy as a finalist at the World Finals<\/em>in Sidney, Australia.
\nAgain in 2015, he wrote his first book,I cocktail in 4 e 4 Otto<\/em>(Cocktails in 2 Shakes), which was published by Gremese.
\nAnd speaking about books, taking a peek at his incredible collection of books on cocktails (including rare, late 19th century editions) is a goal for many aficionados of the world of mixology.[\/vc_column_text]

VALERIO PICCOLO<\/span><\/h2>[vc_column_text]Valerio Piccolo is a translator, singer-songwriter and sommelier.
\nAll in just one lifetime.
\nBorn in Caserta, he has lived in Rome for over twenty years and after transplanting parts of his activities between the East<\/em>and West<\/em> coasts o<\/em>f the United states, he often has one foot (or two) abroad.
\nTo date, as a translator he has adapted over 300 films for Italian dubbing and has worked on films by some of the greatest directors such as Steven Spielberg, Quentin Tarantino, David Lynch, and Ridley Scott among others. In 2017 he won the Gran Premio Internazionale del Doppiaggio<\/em> (International Grand Prize of Dubbing, the highest honour in its category), and in 2018 he received the Anello d\u2019Oro<\/em> at the Voci nell\u2019Ombra Festival<\/em> (The International Dubbing Festival).
\nAs a musician he has recorded five records between Italy and the United States in collaboration with legends in American music such as Suzanne Vega. He has performed at important festivals like the Brooklyn Book Festival<\/em> and Voci per la Libert\u00e0<\/em>, sponsored by Amnesty International Italy.
\nAs a sommelier, he began curating the wine menus for various Italian and American restaurants in the early 2000s, including the then \u201cstarred\u201dLa Rosetta<\/em> restaurant in Rome. He was also one of the wine tasters for the first three editions of the Vini Buoni d\u2019Italia<\/em> guide.
\nIn 2020, he shook up all of these life ingredients together and voil\u00e0, Garbata.[\/vc_column_text]
